My Unique Saturday

This morning I woke up around 9:00 AM. I did not sleep until 3 AM the morning before doing homework, reading and writing about developmental concerns of adolescences for my Master of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Industrial Organizational Psychology.

What woke me up was my honey bunny being super agitated with the world around her. She was extremely angry because she was so tired. Then, she wanted to buy donuts, so we bought two boxes of special donuts. These donuts upset my stomach so badly that I have been running to the toilet all day.

What bothers me from my reading in my developmental psychology course, PSY/600 originated from a social scientist claiming that when a woman has a child at an early age, humankind has somehow evolved that way, so that the default action is that a couple will experience domestic disruption. As if nature causes disruption so that men will want to multiply with other women if he and a woman had a child at an early age. I still cannot wrap my head around the idea that we somehow evolved that way. Or is it just a theory based on an observation. The observation can change over time, but the belief still is the same.

Then, my mother, Averi, and I went on an adventure to complete Shop Kicks. We stopped at every store on Oahu to gain points by scanning items connected to shop kicks points. My mother does it because she earned 200 dollars in two years and she shared that it helps to her exercise. I am proud of her; but keep in mind, that she only shared this after we pretty much had an all-you-can-eat buffet at a delicious Korean restaurant called Jin Joo. Please check out the video at the top of this post to see what we ate.

Please remember I am not by any means promoting Jin Joo. But, I have to admit, it really is a tasty restaurant.

Then, Averi and I came home and did our taxes. Yes, we finally did our taxes. Typically, we finish our taxes by February 1st, but not this year.

Then, did all my finances in one sweep with Averi to make sure that we are making the best decisions concerning our finances.

The whole day, all I wanted to do was sit down and read a book. On a side note, prior to going Shop kicking, we watched a move called The Intern with Robert De Niro- I think. I really should have stayed home to hone in on my craft of writing by reading the rest of The Way of Kings (The Stormlight Archive, Book 1). Right now I am trying to focus on producing good quality Fantasy Fiction. Here you can see that my Saturdays are filled with serious procrastination or serious experience.

I did go on a Shop Kicks hunt before, but today was really fun and I got to drink some good coffee as well. I also listened to a hypnotizing clip regarding The Law of Attraction. Can you tell my brain is firing away and can never stop?
